Super Bowl Ticket Demand and Prices on StubHub – January 11th

After a couple of wild endings and a couple of blowouts, the NFL Wild Card weekend is complete. The Chiefs, Steelers, Seahawks, and Packers will all advance to play another week. What has that taught us about Super Bowl demand? Not much actually. The average price dropped about 37% compared to last week, but that’s about it. We saw some additional local sales coming from California as sales overall stayed flat.

Below are the updated numbers. We’ll take another look next week as the field narrows to to just four teams.

Super Bowl 50 – February 7th, 2016 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California

The Cheapest Ticket Available for Super Bowl 50 is $3,749

The Average Ticket Price Sold for Super Bowl 50 is: $5,525

  • Average for Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale (2/1/15 Patriots-Seahawks): $4,222
  • Average for Super Bowl XLVIII in New York (2/2/14 Seahawks-Broncos): $2,516

Ticket sales for Super Bowl 50 are down 1% year over year through today compared to the same time last year on StubHub.

Tickets for Super Bowl 50 have sold for in the range of $3,478 to $13,500.

  • The least expensive ticket was $3,500 for a seat in Upper Endzone.
  • The most expensive ticket was $13,500 on the Lower Club Sideline.

Tickets for Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale last year sold in the range of $856 – $19,000
