Super Bowl Ticket Demand and Prices on StubHub – January 19th

After last week’s NFL Divisional Round games, we are now down to four teams. The cheapest ticket price for Super Bowl 50 has climbed by 3% compared to last week and the average ticket price sold is up 4%. Even though the field has been cut down, most of the sales on StubHub are still coming from the local California area, though we have started to see a decent increase in sales coming from the Arizona area.

Below are the updated Super Bowl 50 numbers. We’ll check back in next week after the NFL crowns its AFC and NFC champions.

The Cheapest Ticket Available for Super Bowl 50 is $3,884

The Average Ticket Price Sold for Super Bowl 50 is: $5,589

  • Average for Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale (2/1/15 Patriots-Seahawks): $4,222
  • Average for Super Bowl XLVIII in New York (2/2/14 Seahawks-Broncos): $2,516

Ticket sales for Super Bowl 50 are down 1% year over year through today compared to the same time last year on StubHub.

Tickets for Super Bowl 50 have sold for in the range of $1,222 to $16,876.

  • The least expensive ticket was $1,222 for a seat in Upper Sideline.
  • The most expensive ticket was $16,876 on the Lower Club Sideline.

Tickets for Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale last year sold in the range of $856 – $19,000
