StubHub launches “virtual view” in Houston and San Francisco

Here at StubHub, we’re all about bringing you closer than you ever thought possible to your favorite artists, athletes, performers, and more. Now we’re giving you a whole new way to get psyched for an event with the launch of StubHub’s virtual view feature at Houston’s NRG Stadium and San Francisco’s AT&T Park — just in time for the Final Four and baseball’s opening day!

Everyone wants a sneak peek at what the view from their seats will be like at an event, and with this new feature, basketball and baseball fans alike can open up their StubHub app to get a 360° view of their future section at NRG Stadium and AT&T Park.

And, fans with VR goggles (like Google Cardboard or Samsung Gear VR) can insert their iOS/Android phone into the viewer and move their head from side-to-side for a more immersive VR experience — how’s that for some madness?

Check out what Re/code had to say: StubHub Will Use Virtual Reality to Let You Preview Your Seat.

Here’s some more good news: StubHub’s Virtual view at NRG Stadium and AT&T Park is only the beginning – more venues will be supported in the coming weeks, and we’ve got even more innovations in the works that we can’t wait to share with you.

Whether you’re a March Madness fanatic heading to Houston or gearing up for the first San Francisco Giants home game, StubHub’s got you covered. Let’s play ball!
